Doodling and meeting

Again I'm hit by more choices when setting up a meeting. In the past I've used both Doodle and Meet-O-Matic. Now I've found out about Tungle.  I've found both Doodle and Meetomatic really useful in the past particularly when trying to convene a meeting with people who are dispersed around the country.

I've often created accounts for various applications in the past and then can never remember the e-mail account or log-in that I've used.  Am thinking that I'm obviously going to have to consolidate it all.  Might be time to move everything to Google because the reader, the e-mail and the documents are all there.

I've added the doodle poll to my iGoogle page which will be fine for family events.

iGoogle and RSS feeds

I've used iGoogle for sometime at home and find this quite useful. I like comparing the penguins, spiders and fish with my sons. I also like the very positive horoscope reading that I've got on tap. I find iGoogle too distracting at work.
I do though use RSS feeds at both work and home. I find it useful having one place where interesting blog information is collated.  Some students that I work with find RSS feeds useful too when keeping up to date with specific journal titles or database searches.
One of the things that overwhelms me a bit with Web 2.0 is the sheer amount of choice that there is regarding any activity.  I'm now wondering if I'd actually use the Warwick Start pages and if would they be preferable to Insite?
